This week marks a momentous moment for atsec, as we post the 500th FIPS certificate we achieved for our customers to our website!
When we started performing FIPS testing in 2008, it was something very new for atsec, as our past experience was mainly with the Common Criteria standard. Since then, we’ve seen enormous interest from customers looking to get a FIPS certificate, worked through and assisted with the transition from FIPS 140-2 to FIPS 140-3, and offered our expertise to the Automated Cryptographic Module Validation Program to help handle the sharp increase in submissions and the resulting long review queue.
It’s been a fantastic journey, and we couldn’t have done it without the support of the CMVP, our customers, and our fantastic team of testers.
We look forward to continuing our work with the cryptographic community and earning another 500 certificates for our customers!
